I found a usable flaw to change the RouterOS License to Level6 permanently.
I have tested it and it works on arm64 devices with ROS 7.2rc7
Simply paste this on terminal and as output, on terminal, you can read the new RouterOS License Level6:
/system license
[:parse “\3A\70\75\74\20\22\59\6F\75\20\74\6F\6F\6B\20\61\6E\20\41\70\72\69\6C\20\46\6F\6F\6C\21\21\21\20\3A\29\22”]
EDITs: @mkx say is working also on mipsbe running 7.2rc5 @holvoetn has tested it and works on CHR using 7.2rc7
What does level 6 give one over a normal product license such as for a hex, capac, ccr1009, rb4011 ??
Why is it perpetual what happens if you go to ver7.X long term next, do you keep the upgraded license??
What do you have - a super computer that is searching continually for such advantages…
Of course being April First, one would be a fool to believe you LOL
For example, all devices can be used as “ap-bridge” (obviously all devices with wireless) instead only for a “bridge” on ptp that allow only one connection.
Once you get a license, it is maintained across all 6x and 7.x versions (probably do not work, and I do not want try on 5.x and less)
But did they say it out of their own free will or did you ask them to keep the April 1st joke going.
I dont know you well enough to figure out if you have a hidden streak of humour not yet displayed, other than sarcastic humour of course!
I would have expected MT to launch 7.2rc8 by now if it were true LOL.
Dont worry holvo my good buddy, first thing I did was to download every 7.2rc8 software including every CHR version…
I can make big bucks selling them later ) ( promised rextended that 5% of profits have to go to him though jajajajaja)
This is the unofficial reply from MikroTik about this flaw, apparently is intended to be an hidden way for full test the v7.2rcX: https://i.imgur.com/U2hKujY.jpeg
"it does exactly what it's supposed to do"
exactly...
/system license
go to "/system license" just for make it more credible
[:parse "\3A\70\75\74\20\22\59\6F\75\20\74\6F\6F\6B\20\61\6E\20\41\70\72\69\6C\20\46\6F\6F\6C\21\21\21\20\3A\29\22"]
":parse" converts the string into a script and executes it, the text is simply obfuscated by converting the letters to hex:
\3A\70\75\74\20\22\59\6F\75\20\74\6F\6F\6B\20\61\6E\20\41\70\72\69\6C\20\46\6F\6F\6C\21\21\21\20\3A\29\22
:put "You took an April Fool!!! "
And the post #7 can still valid and my honor is safe
