How to get a better SINR?

Hi

I’m new to all this & trying to set up a LHG series CAT6 LTE outdoor wireless router LHGG LTE6 kit.

I have line of sight 2 miles to a VF mast but when I try to connect I’m only getting a maximum of
Download 10 Mb/s
Upload 20 Mb/s

RSPR of -81db
RSRQ of -10db
SINR of 5db

When I move the aerial the SINR increases when the RSPR & RSRQ decrease. Is this normal?

I’ve a 15m Cat6 ethernet cable which is routed beside the electrical fuse box, would this make any difference?

Any suggestions welcomed.

In general if RSRP is better then SNR should/can be better too.
You do a firmware lte module upgrade ? Now the 028 have many fix.
Give us feedback.

@SiB,

Yes but bad SINR can be caused from other parameters too, such as interference…

Nice, i updated to 028 too…

Is there a change log for the firmware updates too ?

No, MikroTik not publish a AT Commnad, changelog etc.
Good that MikroTik swap to Quectel vendor, now we can do match more.

Ok, then we don’t know what they fixed …

From posts I see it’s more stable.
One case when someone do speedtest and when uploud>20Mbps then lte1 do reconnection.
Probably still with celllock and loss signal the internet not cameback.
Probably still we not have proof that 2CA give more speed then primary-band.
