i work for a wireless internet provider and as of right now we are running mikrotik aps and i was wondering if anyone has and suggestions as to how i would go about being able to give my customers more bandwidth i have been offering 768 and 1.2 mbps. i would like to offer 3 m any suggestions??
Depends what kind of MT equipment u have?
what freq u use 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz
what u use for CPE
Depends of topology of ur network
Do u run Hotspots…
Depends where is the problem - what is stoping u to offer 3mbit and so on
the answer is always simple if its old upgrade ur equipment
as of right now we are using a combination of mikrotik and ubnt client gear we have most upgraded most of our client radios tower radios are mirotik rb 433ah
we have a point to point tower to tower with mikrotik backhauls i and being told by my co worker that it will bog the system down
Dont know mate you provide too less information what do u mean “it will bog the system down”
Do u have small throughput from Mikrotik station to clients or from tower to tower where is the problem?
i think its an issue from tower to tower i dont know how much can mikrotik aps handle bandwidth wise i think some customers are running slower when i turn up the speeds
U have BandwidtTest why don’t u check them out
