How to Increase Download Speed and decrease upload of Netmetal5

Hello Dear Mikrotik Friends,
I’ve a PTP link Backbone with Netmetal5 & Mikrotik mANT30 PA Dish at the distance of 11.4Km. Protocol NV2, Chanel Width 80Mhz. I’ve given some Screen Shoot of my configuration. Is it ok? Running for more than 3months without any issue. AP is on my side and the Station is on remote (ISP) side to get better management. How can I Increase Download Speed and decrease upload? Something like Cambium AP 75% Download & 25% upload or custom?

Hi,

  1. What is your Country, and your allowed EIRP?
  2. Did you Test 802.11? I often had better Performance then nv2
  3. use 6.39.2 and enable fast forward for your bridges

Hi mistry7, I’m from Bangladesh. As far I know the max EIRP is allowed 44db here. Yes I’ve tested plane 802.11 but no luck. NV2 is stable for me not also Nstream. What do you mean by “enable fast forward for your bridges”?? Would you please describe in details or a demo?

Ok for 44 dbm EIRP is your Setup Right

44dbm Output Power -128 dB Free Space Los + 30 dbi Antenna = -54 db
You have -56 that is a good value If you do 44 dbm.

Is this Channel free?
