hi everyone i want to deploy active directory domain services as a domain controller but i want my mikrotik work as a dhcp and provide internet i am just confuse during setup of dhcp in mikrotik which ip should i give in dns i want to provide active directory dns ip with dhcp but if i give active directory dns ip in dhcp then how clients will resolve query for internet i mean how they will use internet if they dont have internet dns again i want to say i want to use active directory as a domain controller but i want mikrotik as a dhcp to provide ip and internet thanks in advance hope you guys will help me
When you install the ADDS it will also add the DNS role to the server.
Set the MT DHCP to use the AD domain controller IP address as the DNS server.
On the AD DC set DNS to forward requests to the MT IP address.
Hopefully that makes sense. If not let me know and I can post some screen shots.
