How to know which two physical ports are connected together?

How to find out which two physical ports are connected together on two mikrotiks if I can’t go there and see?

  • IP neighbor
  • Spanning tree

Can you show me whole command if I login to first mikrotik and I wanna know to witch interface is connected from ether1?

What is the easyest way to check what connected on the other side of mikrotik ether port?

In principle devices learn MAC addresses of peers available through certain network interface. On my RB I can see them under switch->host … On the other hand you can find out MAC addresses of all RB interfaces. Then you can match the lists.

I don’t have host under switch menu?

Under switch I only have: ACL, FDBs, Ports, QoS, Settings, VLAN.

Bridge->Host?
