Hello all,
I have a fiber optic link with stable 30-50 mbs full duplex traffic , now i need to make wifi backup of this link.
I have 12 vlans which are travelling this fiber optic link.
traffic in this vlans is voip, local internet connection , intranet …
i made nstream 2 link but it’s not enough ![]()
distance is 2.5 km
I want to add third wifi link and put only local internet to this link , this traffic is almost half of all traffic and it’s not delay sensetive so i can use half duplex connection for it.
I can’t find any information or manual how to load balance based on vlan tags ?
Connection must be Layer 2 i can’t use L3 in my setup.
any information will be appricated.
Mikrotik is a very good product but problem with documentation kills me ![]()
thats why i love cisco ![]()
by the way setup i have looks like this
cisco l2 switch → mikrotik wifi bridge - mikrotik wifi bridge ← cisco l2 switch.
ports on cisco switch are vlan trunks.
i can add another wifi bridge and it solves my problem but i preffer to do this in one box.
I don’t bealive that mt can’t load balance based on vlan tags ![]()
i just can’t find manual on how to do this.
