How to load share a point to point link across several devices?

Hi,

I’d like to set up a point to point link using 3x different devices each end.

RB-Metal 9HPn
RB-Metal 5SHPn
RB-Metal 2SHPn

I would like to load share the connection over all three devices without getting any sort of LAN feedback loops or IP Storms etc.

Using a “RB260GSP” at each end of the link can I set something within the POE Switch so this doesn’t happen?

Or do I have to use some sort of router each end like the “RB750r2” (hEX PoE lite).

Please give a little detail as to what’s involved.

Hi,

as long as your links are L2 transparent, you should be able to use the MAC based bonding interface feature.
