How to log all critical info onto the HD

Hi there

Im busy running version 2.9.5, is there any way to log all critical activaty to my HD or to email it too me..

Ive had ppl try to hack into my system and i need to log all the info.

Also How do you turn of logging for ospf.i could do it in version 2.8.7

If anyone could give me a step by step guide.

use remote logging with some syslog daemon

any recomended syslog daemon tools
