Hi all,
I’m Using MT server and i want to log in to my server by telnet remotely outside my network, so i grab a static IP address from my ADSL provider and i want now to make some routing rules from my ADSL router to my MT server.
Please tell me how with a quick example.

If the static IP is assigned to a interface on the Mikrotik box you shouldn’t have to do anything. just login.
if the static ip on the ADSL interface use Portforwording option from your ADSL modem .or if you have dynamic ip on ADSL configure dynamic dns client and create dns name for your modem ip
thanks to all,
well done Mr. pokemon, my static ip address is on my ADSL modem.
OK, i got you, but I’m using Billion adsl router and i search for that port forwarding and i don’t find it.
Also i want to ask you about the port which i will forward to it

telnet, by default, is port #23
Some routers list Port Forwarding as Virtual Servers you could try looking there. You can also forward 8291 which is winbox so that you can use Winbox interface from remote locations.
