How to manage large number of AP

By my calculations- although initial investment is not high -cost of managing large mikrotik installation is not very cost effective. I am interested to hear how do you manage large number of APs, especially with limited access to APs?

  1. How do you upgrade/downgrade firmware?
  2. How do you monitor all the APs?
  3. How do you change rules and what if you lock yourself out?
  4. How much time do you spend weekly maintaining/monitoring/troubleshooting?

hi,

  1. i’ve created centralized package repository which handles updates
  2. using rosinfo and graphs created from snmp
  3. configuration is templated to all access points
  4. about 30m-1h a day managing over 50 RB and 100 other devices
