How to mark a switch?

Dude insist that any device on a map has IP. Switched do not have IP’s.
How to add it?

You may use fake ip like 0.0

I tried that, but Dude replaces 0.0.0.0 with some random IP.

I could live with that but I cannot find how to prevent Dude to report switch as down, since it cannot access it in any way.

Even worse, anything dependant on swich also shows down.

I found out. I added switch as static network element.
