I bought a Mikrotix hex rb750gr3, and will have a tech guy coming later next week to configure the NAT & SPI, and close all ports not essential for Internet access. I need to know how to open individual ports as needed, so I do not have to pay him to come out every time I have to open one. I have never dealt with a router before, so instructions need to be simplified, and the CLI needs to be avoided as much as possible (overt typing is not compatible with ADD and dyslexia).
Have you already asked “uncle Google” for “mikrotik port forward example”?
Easy to find: http://support.clouditsp.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/251/0/mikrotik---nat-rule-port-forwarding
ADD and dislexia will not help you but you need to focus on examples and practice, practice, practice yourself … or you need to hire someone to help you. There is no other way.
Many thanks. That was something I could actually understand, and a GUI is added bonus!
