how to put mikrotik server in sleep mode for 30 min only?

how to put mikrotik server in sleep mode for 30 min only then starts by itself after that just to give the hardware a rest?

just to give the hardware a rest?

Does hardware need to rest?

yes if you want to avoid overflow in some chineese pc parts or to give it some time to cool down or to get more lifetime.

avoid overflow in some chineese pc parts

overflow what? and maybe you shouldn’t be using cheap parts if you need to turn them on and off.

cool down

Look at why it is over heating. does it need more airflow? is it poorly designed?

get more lifetime.

resting a computer won’t extend its life, if it is kept in a cool, dust free environment.

Long story short, computer equipment doesn’t need to rest. I don’t know of any manufacturer that has provisions in their software or hardware to let it rest for a set amount of time.

comon guys can we do it?

Buy a timer that switched power on and off at interval times.

The proper solution is to buy decent hardware. Servers should just run for years. If you have one that can’t throw it away because it’s crap, and buy one that can.

let say i want to do this for any other reasons

can it be done?

If your server turns on when power is applied use a timed power switch.

Otherwise maybe try WOL in its BIOS combined with a scheduled shutdown.
