How to reboot apc masterswitch port if device goes down?

I was wondering if dude could fire off an snmp command or other to an apc masterswitch or UPS to toggle power to that device. I know nagios can do it, but I haven’t been able to figure out how to get dude to do it. Or is there a tool that could be used?

Note: this is not via console but via snmp or other from a remote location to the device that has locked up where it quits responding and may only need to be power cycled, i.e. an access point.

SNMP write is not supported by the dude, although you should search the forum I think you can find someone who setup an external to do them.

Then it is just a matter of determining what the “write” should be to reset the APC.
