Hello Everybody.

why do you think there is noise? what exactly is the problem with the link anyway?
There are only three real ways to reduce noise, no matter the link distance.
Change Frequencies
Use a more directional antenna
Stay at the current frequency and install a bandpass filter
As long as your setup is correctly installed, the only place you should get noise is from your surroundings. Thus, either change the surroundings (frequency), change the area of the surroundings you pickup up (antenna radiation pattern), or cut down the surrounding noise (filter).
You may also get some noise over very long links from random events but nothing will take care of that for you.
You need connect to ground the radio and antena.
Regards.
The tower to which the attenea is connected is ground. Is that okay or a speical ground cable should be connected to attennea to reduce the noise levels
I don’t think grounding has something to do with the noise levels..
You wouldn’t think so, but it does. I don’t understand why, but it does.
Use better antennas, more narrow beamwidth, greater front to back ratio & greater cross-polarization rejection ratio.
On my longer links in noisy environments, I have had success using more narrow channels (5 or 10Mhz instead of 20Mhz). It does lower the bandwidth but the lower packet loss often makes up for it and runs quicker.
