Several years ago we bought a set Wireless Wire Cube Pro, to connect 2 company buildings (app. 100m apart from each other) The bridge worked fine for a long time.
Now the slave component of this set has failed and is dead. So we bought a new Cube 60Pro ac as a replacement.
On the new cube:
- We have modified the IP4 factory setting to the IP-address of the old (broken) slave.
- Then we adjusted the quick settings based on the template “PTP Bridge AP” to the same settings as the master (except for the IP-address of course)
On both cubes:
In addition, we have updated the RouterOS on both cubes to 7.20.5 (stable).
On the new cube:
- Then we adjusted the quick settings based on the template “PTP Bridge AP” to the same settings as the master (except for the IP-address of course)
Before mounting the new slave on the roof of the new building, we’d like to know, what other settings need to be done for both cubes to communicate with each other.
