How to set pppoe cleint and hotspot together

Hi Mirkrotik Guru,


We would like to accomplish to wrap box that are access point able to do both of hot spot and pppoe client. We want to control bandwidth.
Here is what our current hardware configuration:

Mikrotik Server(2.4Ghz CPU base)<—wrap backhaul<------------------>Backhaul Linking wrap<------swtich<-------AP

My question to the expert how can we able to achieve this task running on
2.9.13 or 2.9.6.

Is it possible to do that where pppoe server will be running on mikrotik server and authenticate would do through Free Radius.

Any suggestion would be appreciate,

I too am running the hotspot and the pppoe server on the same interface. Problem will be that you will get 2 ip addresses, one from the hotspot and 1 from the pppoe server. In order for the hotspot to function so that the login screen comes up before login you will be given a ip address. Even though it will work with both pppoe and hotspot on the same interface, I have seen that it utilizes to many ip addresses as every client will get 2 ips. Wondering if ther is a way to stop this as well.

Any ideas
