Hello all guys. I have 1gbps connection with my isp router. The fiber optic cable is connected to a converter and a lan cable is going to my isp router. I’m thinking to throw away mi isp router and connect the lan cable from fiber converter to my mikrotik ax3 directly. Is going to work? I will have internet? Is something I must setup in mikrotik? Now my mikrotik is running after the isp router with normally setup of idhcp server.
If you have your ax3 pretty close to default, connect WAN input to ether 1 and it should be almost seamless.
I have eth1 as DHCP client. So is going to work? I will try it
