How to setup RouterBoard with a Static IP from ISP.

I have a 411AR that I’m trying to get setup with a static IP from the ISP. I haven’t been able to find a How-To or Tutroial anywhere that describes how to do this.

What I’m attempting to do is setup a small wireless network, and so far I have the wireless working as I want, but wireless clients don’t have access to the internet. I believe that the problem is centered around either the setup of a static ip or, for lack of a better term, bridging of ether1 and wlan1 so that traffic from the wireless end accesses the internet from ther ethernet connection.

I know some basic networking, but I am by no means a guru in such things, so please bare with me. If someone could either point me to a How-to, or lend some time it would be appreciated.

You need the info from your ISP.
IP ADDRESS / SUBNET
GATEWAY
DNS Servers

When you have this

IP address goes on your external interface
Gateway goes in routes
DNS servers need to be added to DNS.
