hi i saw some users are constantly flooding my network due to these guys other users are getting effected and can any one help me how to stop these type of users any one has any experiences and in torch the ports are always tcp port 6 and udp 17

just make firewall filter rule to reject it !
ya i thought i should implement firewall but how shoud i do ? weather i should block the ports or limet the amount of traffic that i am confused can explain little deeper

my mistake tcp 6 and udp 17 are the protocols some guys r flodding my nw can i limit them based on ip address or what should i do if a new user gives flodding
