My isp block internet sharing through router. thats why i cannot use wireless router for my laptop. is there any way to unblock sharing

can you explain me how can i change the ttl value…i mean what is the command for that. my isp give me the ip address 10.0.0.121/24, gateway: 10.0.0.1. i m putting this on my router’s ether1 interface. in ether2 i use dhcp to connect my local network. i do masquerade to hide my local network behind my public ip. in my local network i can ping my public network include every website. but still i cannot surf internet. please tell me exactly what will i have to do…

thanx man…its working fine with webproxy. now i can surf internet from my local network. i dont have to change the ttl value. but there is a problem with webproxy. i can not use yahoo messenger or gmail messenger.

yes, you can transparently proxy only http. for https, you should manually add proxy settings to your web-browser

oh man…that is so easy to change the ttl value. i try many way to unblock the sharing. at last i find a very simple way. in the mangle rule i just increment the ttl value to 1. and thats work for me. now i don’t need web proxy. i am surfing the net like a free bird. thank you all. hope i will find a wifi nat router by which i can change the ttl value.
