We have several RB750UPs in our system. Some of these devices show the output currents of POE capable ports (POE fw 2.13), while others don’t show them (POE fw 2.1). The difference between these devices is the POE firmware only, because both types have RouterOS v6.27. Older ROS versions have an opportunity to upgrade POE fw with the
/ interface ethernet poe settings upgrade
command, but the RouterOS v6.27 doesn’t have it. How could I upgrade these devices from 2.1 to 2.13 in ROS v6.27? Or is it possible that accidentally missed this opportunity out in this version?
Note: RouterOS 6.x does not have upgrade command and the upgrade/downgrade is done automatically as you are upgrading or downgrading RouterOS.
I was able to upgrade poe firmware past 2.1 by upgrading routeros to the latest v6.28rc build. You can upgrade your routeros to v6.28rc7 and then downgrade back to v6.27 to get the latest poe firmware, or just wait until v6.28 stable build.
