Hows BGP in routing Test on .18?

Hey all,

i’m looking to put 2.9.18 into effect soon and relooking at iBGP, is anyone running it in a production or test setup that can let me know what im in for? any tips or tricks to getting it working correctly?

I am using 2.9.18 routing-test in production environment. Configured according to the manual. No problems so far. And yes, iBGP is working too.

Any tricks with TTL etc? i remeber someone saying that had better results with a higher TTL

Works fine for me without TTL adjustments.

routing-test all good here except…

I cannot get any BGP to redistribute to OSPF, let alone the default route. What am I missing or is there a bug ?

I’m still learning BGP and am lost when people say iBGP … are you just meaning regular BGP but between your own routers ? Or rip or ospf?

iBGP is BGP between routers within the same AS.
