HTTP POST problem with some ecommerce sites

Some of my customers have reported problems when shopping online at certain sites.. I’ve verified it at several locations using dsl, cable and t1’s..

One of the sites is http://www.1800diapers.com.. If you click on Diapers on the top right below Home and then on the next page pick a size, quantity, then click add to cart and it just sits for a couple minutes and eventually firefox will say Connection Reset. it also does the same thing when you try to click checkout..

I’ve tried on multiple computers using different browsers. I’ve also tried taking a brand new rb532 and doing a very minimal setup on a dsl line from a diff provider and it does the same thing.

If I put a linksys router in place of the mikrotik it works just fine.

It does the same thing if the mikrotik is routing public ip’s to the customer or natting privates.

Here is my minimal dsl config..

Does 1800diapers.com work for you when using mikrotik?
Any ideas?
thanks

No problems for me, even with round-robin load-bbalancing and NAT. Maybe thatš because I’m using Mac? Just kidding. You must screwed up something in your config. refer to wiki and manual for help.

Wait, but where is your public IP? and default route?

I use the ip and gateway from the pppoe server.. I thought I screwed something up at first too, thats why I took a brand new rb532 out of the package and configured it from scratch on a completely seperate line with a different internet provider.

All I did to configure the new rb532 was add a new pppoe-client, set a ip for the lan interface, and then click setuped under the dhcp and ‘nexted’ through the dhcp wizard.. Then I added a NAT rule to masquerade.

I also tried it on our t1 but routed a block of public ip’s to it instead of doing nat.
