HTTP Requests Not Going Through

I’m in need of a solution in this issue that has bothered me for 3 days straight.

I have a Mikrotik Cloud Router Switch CRS125-24G-1S-IN connected to ISP bridge.

The router is configured as a DHCP server whose DNS is provided by the ISP

From last week, I noticed that requests from a client computer browser through HTTPS go through normally but requests to HTTP take too long to respond and eventually the browser fails to connect.

When I ping http sites they reply with no hops lost.

Please help

Hey there, i have the same issue, http dont work, but i can https to the site no problem. very confusing. did you get it working or still having issues?

Are all the http servers you try affected or only some of them?

i actually fix this today.
i started by adding a filter rule pointing at my WAN eth port allowing port 80 traffic. and set it at the top of the rule list.
now this probably didnt do anything because http access still failed afterwards but i didnt do a reboot after adding the rule, i dont believe one is required.

i then checked and updated the OS on the router. it wasnt too old but it wasnt the latest. once the router had updated and rebooted http access started working again!
it might have simply been the update or a mix of both. i would try updating first. if it still isnt working add the filter rule.
hope this helps you.
