http://usermanager_IP/user going to .../userman - why???

Hey guys,
when I go to my “…usermanager_IP/user” URL and enter one of the created user names and passwords, it tell’s me it’s invalid. But when I enter my User Manager administrator user name and passwords, it log’s me into the User Manager admin pages. So it seams to be going to “…/userman” instead of “…/user”.

This is not right - could some one help me trouble shoot this issue?

I upgraded from rOS 3.0.1…some thing some thing to rOS 3.2 recently, so I don’t know if that created the issue. It’s also running on a pc…and when I upgraded I had to re configure every thing for user manager. Just in case this information will change any thing…

Thanks.

Have you logged in with this user in HotSpot ?

I have tried the same,

  • Set HotSpot + User-Manager;
  • client is logged in HotSpot via User-Manager;
  • router_ip/user and enter user’s login and password.

User page is not provided not User-Manager page.
Look here for more information,

Indeed,
that did the trick it seams.

So its not:
“http://usermanager_IP/user” any more…it now is
“http://usermanager_IP/user?subs=public_ID_allocated_under_customer”

Then it redirects to “…/user” and bam.

I’ll test this out in a few scenario’s quick, but it seams to be the correct way to go about it with the new version.

Thanks!! :sunglasses:

Now the only thing I wish I could do was create a link on my website where you enter user name and password and when you click submit, it chucks out a code like…

“http://usermanager_host/user?subs=public_ID?username=john?password=doe?summary”

and then it extracts the info and out pops only the user’s summary information…

Now wouldn’t that be a cool tool? Or am I really a noob and it is already possible to do this? :open_mouth:
