Huawei E3531s-2 on a CRS125-24G-1S-2HnD-IN

I`m testing with a Huawei E3531s-2 on a CRS125-24G-1S-2HnD-IN and the Huawei seems to be working if you plug the stick in and poweroff/poweron the unit. Reboot is not sufficient.

The Huawei seems to be acting as a NAT router using 192.168.8.x subnet on the USB side of the dongle and the public provider IP on the wireless side of the dongle. I want to use the public ip on Mikrotik so i need to find out how

I have found out that the Huawei is set to a HiLink setup and so it is acting as NAT router. I`m not sure if and how i should disable this mode

I have made this “lab setup” to test out 4G fallback in the future on some customer locations using for example a HAP Lite AC as 4G to Ethernet bridge

I would be interested as well!
I am using a Huawei E3372 and it has the same problem: it works as a NAT router.
It would be nice when the MikroTIk could obtain the external IP from the stick (with the stick being transparent).
