HWMPPlus: Lost connectivity to most of network!

I’m about to totally give up on HWMPPlus. :imp:

Here’s the situation…
Mix of NetMetal5, RB750UP, Metal9 and Metal2 devices all at 6.30.1.

NetMetal5 --- RB750UP --- Metal9-1 -<WDS> - Metal9-2 --- Metal2 -- clients.
                                            Metal9-3 --- Metal2 -- clients
                                            ...
                                            Metal9-n

The NetMetal5 is the gateway and is marked as mesh portal. All other devices are configured with their default mesh settings.
The Metal9 radios are configured as dynamic-mesh.

Right now I’ve lost contact with Metal9-2 and everything beyond. The WDS link shows light traffic and Metal9-2s MAC address shows in Metal9-1s FDB and in a ROMon discovery but you can’t mesh traceroute, ping it via ip or mac address, connect via ssh or mac-telnet and it doesn’t appear in IP/Neighbors.

This is not the first time this has happened to various parts of the mesh and if I have the field tech power cycle Metal9-2 it’ll come back up but if I don’t figure this out in the next day or so, it’s back to bridge/rtsp.

Can anyone shed some light on why this may be happening? It all works in the lab of course.

I’ve got almost similar problem:

Have you found a solution for yours?

Nope. I lost all hope for HWMPPlus.

Sounds pretty pessimistic! Does Mikrotik team have any opinion on the topic?!
