Hi! I am new to mikrotik. I’ve Mikrotik RB750GL Router and I want to deploy it our office. let me tell you scenario first and then what I want to achieve.
I’ve approx 40 to 50 nodes and all have static IP of class C e.g (192.168.1.2 and so on). there is also ISP router of which IP is 192.1698.1.1. in currently I’ve set the router IP to all my clients as gateway but I want to deploy mikrotik in between. I want to setting up mikrotik in such a way that its DHCP server Shouldn’t start as I’ve already limited client in my setup and all have static IP setup. I want to set mikrotik as default gateway to all my client and further allow or disallow Internet access by choosing static IP. obviously I’ve to put the Internet router provided by ISP into mikrotik but what is next? please tell me help me or point me or give me some link to setting up mikrotik in this scenario. thanks in advance
