I can log-in using winbox but everything is empty.

I have a problem when using winbox to two of my relays. It logs in and accepts password but everything is blank. You can click on interface and it shows no interfaces. etc etc. This is a computer issue I know, because I can remote into one of my computer servers and it works just fine.

Does winbox use java or some other add-on that I might need to update?

Don’t understand why it works on some routers but not others.

The only time I’ve seen this happen is when the routeros box is either out of memory or has 100% cpu and its too busy to update the winbox data feed. If you reboot the router does it come back for a while?

Have you tried from Winbox Loader > Tools>Clear cache ???

Yup, cleared the cace, downloaded a new winbox. It is only blank on about 1/2 my units. And it’s only blank when using my winxp machine. I can remote over to one of my in win2k servers and log right in.

try to login via Ip Address, instead of Mac Address.

I face same prob, But if i login thru IP, No prob.

I experience this problem too, but i know that it is more than a pc problem because when it happens i have customers complaining of slow speeds or high latency and people who are not already authenticated in radius via pppoe cannot login. I have experienced this on both RB600A’s and RB433AH’s (each board had a ubiquiti xr2 and xr9 in it) and in both scenarios i have tried ROS 3.x and 4.x. It’s always the same…interface list is blank or shows one or two dynamic wds interfaces, ppp shows no interfaces or active connections when i know there is and then if you go to bridge then ports tab it shows unknown interface for all ports. The thing that really gets me is that it eventually straightens itself out on its own even if you don’t reboot it. Sometimes rebooting it fixes the problem for days or weeks and sometimes it only fixes it for up to an hour. I am going to try and get a supout.rif when its broken but does anyone know if this could be a configuration problem? I am sure that i am not the only one who has seen this. Any help is greatly appreciated.
