Hello, I am using RB333.
I am using it as a Hotspot server.
Now, I have Buffalo WHR-Hp-G54(dd-wrt v24 RC5).
When I do it(whr-hp-g54) as a Repeater it makes some problem such as:
I can connect to router but I cannot get an IP address, If I connect directly to RB333, I could get an IP address, after I get address If I try to connect whr-hp-g54 I still can’t get an IP address. If I enter my IP address MANUALLY, I can use internet. So It cannot repeats DHCP. How may I fix it?
You have to fix buffalo access-point, I do not see how problems is related to MikroTik.
Probably this device supports bridge mode, then DHCP should be give to end client without any problems.
MikroTik RouterOS in bridge point will provide with different opportunities, how to transport DHCP from end client over bridge.
