I have a L2TP VPN that is passing traffic without any problem.
I can ping all devices (local and remote) from both routers.
The problem that I have is that I can’t see (ping) the local IP of the L2TP interface from a Windows machine that is connected to the local router. I can ping the rest of public IPs within the same segment.
WinPC → Local Mtik → Internet/L2TP → Rem Mtik → devices
The WinPC is a Windows 2003 Server running a SNMP (WhatsUP) that monitors the network. I’m trying to monitor all the remote devices.
I already checked the IP setting on the computer and they are correct.
By the way, Google has become a close friend but in this case it has not been able to help me out.
Any help and/or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
