Hi, i’m new and have tried everythin except ask on this forum.
I have a wireless thing and it is mounted on my roof and connected to my pc with a netword cable. I get a signal between -68 and -74. I use RouterOS v3.10 and connect through a proxy and my internet speeds are fast and fine. I am allowed to download torrents but the problem is i cant get speed higher than 2kb/s. I was wondering if it is possible to forward a port through routerOS so it can speed up my uTorrent.
i dont think its the isp because i have friends with the exact same setup who get much faster speeds than me. I just basically want to know if i can improve torrent speeds using routerOS by maybe forwarding a port for utorrent like i did with the wired router at my friends house. I have never worked with ROS and its still very complicated. So is there any way i can change settings or anything in ROS to increase torrent download speeds?
utorrent basically says a router or firewall is blocking connections and no one can connect with me. I always solve this problem by just forwarding the correct port which is easy with wired routers that i know but this ROS is way to complicated…
