I have a hotspot setup but want to use my PS3 on it....

Ok I’ve been playing around with Mikrotik in my home. I have a hotspot setup so the neighbors can use it. but now I cannot get my 360 or ps3 to connect to the internet obviously because they have to go thru the portal page before they can do so.


What is a great way to go about this so that I can get around going thru the portal page and having them full “DMZ” access?

Hi,

you can use IP BINDINGS TAB in IP/HOTSPOT.

Put the PS3 IP there with the bypass option.

Is there a way to ONLY specify a MAC address rather then an IP under IP bindings?

Yes, set MAC address and left IP address set to 0.0.0.0
