I have no Idle process and the processor usage always more than 60%

Hi,
I have RB1100 AH2x. the processor is always more than 60%. I have nothing more than a normal hotspot with some APs connected to several ports.
when I look into the profile, I saw two unclassified processes taking more than 20% of resources and I didn’t see the Idle process. is that normal?
I have upgraded the firmware to 6.40.2 and I am still seeing the processor working more than 60%. unlike other Mikrotik devices on my network(same model).

any idea?

With the more recent ros version, they dropped the “idle” process. Too many people wanted it dropped because it took too much cpu… Don’t laugh, its true :wink:

Unclassified is a melting pot of what they couldn’t put elsewhere.

good to know that the Idle process is talking much cpu.. :smiley:
so I am left a lone with the unclassified process to discover what is eating the CPU…hmmm
