I need to switch a Osbridge client with Mikrotik rb411

Hi,
I need help for switch from OSBRiDGE 5XLi client to new client appliance based on rb411 board with a 5Ghz pcmcia card.

With Mikrotik client I see the wlan but I don’t connect it.

How do I copy these parameters within Mikrotik board with WinboxClient?

In Osbridge client I see this settings:
Advanced Settings

  • Fragmentation Threshold:2346
  • RTS/CTS Threshold:2347
  • WLAN Speed:6mbps
  • Data Encryption ENABLE with a Passphrase (8 characters min.): XXXXXXXXXXX
  • Encryption: disabled

General Settings

  • ESSID: XXXXXXX
  • Channel Width: 20Mhz
  • IP Operational Mode: NAT ROUTER
  • WLAN Operational Mode: Polling client
  • DHCP: server enabled
  • PPPoE Authorization: ENABLED
  • PPPoE Username: XXXXX
  • PPPoE Password: XXXXXX

    Thanks

We need more info. The RB411 will be a AP or a Station?

is it WEP key?

Data Encryption ENABLE with a Passphrase (8 characters min.): XXXXXXXXXXX

what kind of wireless mode it it - just regular station or some proprietary?

WLAN Operational Mode: Polling client

The RB411 is a client station.

is it WEP key?
Data Encryption ENABLE with a Passphrase (8 characters min.): XXXXXXXXXXX

No, the web key is disabled as the attachment

what kind of wireless mode it it - just regular station or some proprietary?
WLAN Operational Mode: Polling client

I did not understand your question.

Thanks

From their manual:

Data Encryption – Enable or Disable over the air OSBRiDGE proprietary data Encryption here. This encryption scheme works only between compatible OSBRiDGE devices.
Encryption – Please select generic WLAN encryption scheme: WEP, WPA-PSK TKIP or WPA-PSK CCMP (AES).

So you see that they use some proprietary protocol to encrypt data. This is to block any other brand devices from connecting. If this mode is enabled on the AP, the MikroTik client will not be able to connect. You need to replace the AP also, or at least turn off this proprietary mode.
