I WANT TO SETUP FRESH MIKROTIK SERVER

RouterOS Beginner Basics

As a mikrotik beginner i want to start by been able to setup a small mikrotik server for 10pc.
The intend mikrotik server will serve as:

  1. DHCP server.
  2. Bandwidth Manager
  3. Packet filltering, Port and web blocking.
  4. Create Rules that are very essential for smooth and problem free network.
    5.Hotspot configuration

Pls dont refer me to the manuals. i have tried to read and read I jst discover i need some one to help me on how-to-do practical and step by step command. I will be operation on VSAT. You can help me by assuming a WAN ip Address for me and also LAN. your responses and reply will highly appreciate.

basically using manual you can configure routeros to you needs,

We dont mind helping people. But not spoonfeed, that said. If you run the hotspot wizard, it will se up all of these settings for you, only manual tweak, would be the bandwidth settings, which can be accomplish with hotspot or making us of simple queues, which i also realy straight forward.
