Hey guys,
Currently our network runs a kind of ebgp with each internal router running on a different AS
I’ve been wanting to go to ibgp for a while now but have come up againest an issue time and time again.
Our network looks like this
Tower5-----Tower1 -------Tower2------Tower0------Edge
Tower4 ----------| |
Tower3----|
So as you can see the network is kinda strange.
I try to setup ibgp with the same AS on all towers but things go strange on some towers
Tower0,2,3 and Edge all route fine but routing dosnt seem to work on Tower1,4 and 5
Any help guys on how i can set this all up?

You have to provide more information.
What information do you need, this is a production setup and the ibgp test was done some time ago during some downtime we had so keep in mind i’m not ablt to just go and do it again without knowing how to make it work
All routers were setup with the same instance AS and has peers to all routers directly connected with standard options

Probably you need to read bgp documentation. With iBGP you need full mash. If not, try using route-reflector.

Hmmm thats what i thought but couldnt confirm - I’ll have a look at route reflector
