Hi.
I have problem to install Mikrotik on ide flash disk. It finds flash disk, create partition and start formating. But format is runnig very long time and it is not finishing.
How long time should be take the install process?
I am instaling from CD. HW: celeron 366MHz, 64MB RAM, apacer 64MB ide flash disk, 3com eth… I set “mode normal” in bios for flash disk.
Any advice?

can you try plugging that IDE flash into another computer And trying NetInstall instead of CD install ?
I’ve solved the problem.
It was in hardware - power supply of flash disk. Seller told that it don’t need external supply. Unfortunatelly voltage was in border level (4.5V) - bios detected disk, fdisk created partition but formating failed.
If I conected supply formating toke few second.
