Ideal settings for PTP link with SXT radios for maximum mbps

I am testing a pair of SXT radios for a PTP bridge…

So far the maximum throughput I can achieve in a 20mhz channel is 35-37mbps TCP.
I am using only NV2 for the protocol, which seems to give the highest results.

I’ve run my tests with the built in speed test, as well as a speed test on two computers on each end of the link. No difference.
Currently the radios are operating on a bench with signals of -55 (I have the TX turned down on both of them.
Both chains are enabled.

Are there settings I am missing or ones that are not optimal from the default config?

What is the maximum I should expect from 20Mhz? What is the maximum I should expect from 40Mhz?
What are the ideal settings for advanced tuning?

Don’t use the internal TCP bandwidth test because it pushes the CPU at 100% load and you will NOT be able to see what the link does.
Use the UDP bandwidth test instead.
After establishing a connection, try to get the MAX Tx/Rx CCQ out of it and THEN you will be ready (try for 100% Tx/Rx CCQ)

Please read my message. I said that I did the test with the internal test tools, AND with two computers on each end.

Even when doing the internal test tools VIA the wired side, I can get a lot higher before the CPU reaches maximum. So I know the limiting factor is the wireless connection.

I know people can achieve 100+mbps on these radios, so what are the best configurations to achieve this?

I told you.
BEST is Tx/Rx 100% CCQ. Do you have this? IF you don’t have it, DON’T expect to get the maximum of the bandwidth.
Could you please upload a signal strength picture of your link?

Solved.

Stupid error on my part. Radio was running in A/N mode when I should have locked it into N mode.

All goes at good speed now.

What was your Bandwidth difference between A/N mode and N mode?

Thanks,
Stefan

…and also the radios come with only one chain active, very stupid thing. Is very easy to forget to activate it. Not to say if you are a beginner.
