Used VirtualAP with same SSID for towers with few AP’s on them. Programmed client unit with this SSID and they could point panel to tower and would pick up AP with best signal. Afterwards I would change client SSID do actual WLan SSID. Worked rather well but with the obvious advantages of Nv2 especially for crowded AP’s we changed. Because Nv2 does not support VirtualAp, this won’t work anymore. Any ideas how to overcome this?
