Hello all,
This is my story:
long time ago i was upgraded about 10 rb260gs’es to 1.10, because SFP autonegotiation issue
after few days i noticed that all upgraded switches started hang up and only way was to power off/on cycle.
after that i tried to downgrade them all to stable 1.9 even if swos had autonegotiation issue.
Few downgraded normally, for some after downgrade i had to reset switch to defaults,
for two downgrade was unsucsessfull, so i left them in the field because they worked ± normally.
Switches was configured as managed switches with management vlan plus few vlans for customers.
A month ago one of two last switches died at all: no upgrade via tftp, no responce to ping, no passing traffic
The switch was older than 1 year so i just dropped it out.. I noticed that the bottom of switch was very hot.
Yesterday the last switch died in very strange way - not responding to pings, but it can be seen in neighbour list,
it passes traffic, but under load traffic stops to flow and only power cycle helps, netinstall via tftp not works, but switch is taking a lease from server (other ROS driving device). The switch bottom is hot like in previous situation.
Guys, any ideas to debrick switch?
