Hate to be a bother, but a firewall rule was added accidentally that drops all established connections on input chain and I can no longer get into the device. It is a PowerRouter 732.
Could anyone please advise me on how to get access again (via serial cable??) and how to modify or remove the firewall rule via command line?
I have never used a powerouter, so I don’t know what connections it offers. Ask the seller/manufacturer. They supposedly offer good support for their products.
Was able to get in through console port. Was able to google for the commands to disable the bad firewall rule.
Also, I believe MAC telnet bypasses the firewall rules since it is Layer 2.
