IGMP support in RouterOS

ROS v4.6 don’t support IGMP proxy for pppoe connection and ipv6. Do you have plan to develop it?

can you explain in more detail part - IGMP-Proxy does not support PPPoE

and we are looking into MLD as that is part of IPv6

RoS support igmp proxy on any interface

Client use DHCP to get IP from RouteOS and IGMP works fine.
After change client to use PPPoE to get IP from RouterOS, It’s empty in Outgoing interface.
Did I miss anything?

Does anyone know how to make pppoe IGMP work?
Please give me some advice.
Thanks a lot!

igmp works on ppoe interface, but on client side you need to use pppoe interface to receive multicast

Hi,martini
About this issue, I did use an AP router as a PPPoE client to get access to the Ros, but when it send an IGMP report to ROS, the ROS didn’t send the IPTV traffic to AP. If I change the AP to be DHCP client, then the traffic can be received in the AP.
The ROS setting is the same as the former picture.
Would you please help to find the root cause and give me some advice?
thanks a lot!
