I have searched the forums for this problem, but so far not come up with any solutions, hence my question here.
My images seem to disappear randomly. I’ve set up various maps and submaps, and devices within each map have images (gif files) of the actual products. Some have disappeared; they will only come back when I remove the image and re-add it. I have to delete the image completely, and this means I then have to go back through each instance of that device, reassigning the image. However, it seems that it may disappear again at some future point.
Is there anything I may have done wrong, or can I fix this in some way?
I just thought I’d join up to agree with SDC…I am running 3.07 and I have a 50/50 shot of my users seeing the images that I imported for the network hardware being monitored. Currently tested with Windows XP Pro SP2, Windows 2k Pro SP4, and Win2k3 Server SP2 using 3.07, with three hardware platforms: Dual-core Xenon 2.66GHz w/ 3GB of RAM, Core2Duo 2.00GHz Dell Latitude Laptop w/ 1GB of RAM, and PIII 1.0GHz Dell Latitude Laptop w/ 256MB of RAM. Irony of Ironies, it seems to me that Dude runs the best as version 3.07 on the Pentium 3 laptop
Also tested 3.08, but the issue mentioned here among other things (Ex: Loading 3.07 backups) rendered 3.08 unusable for me for the time being.
I have already burned too much time on this project, but it is to the point that I may as well finish the journey since I am already over halfway there

P.S.- I Tried different image sizes, then PNG and JPEG file formats, to no avail.
