Hi,
I have been steadily been rolling out 'Tiks with routed blocks of IPs to all our wireless towers, and now am ready for two things.
-
Make all towers have redundant links to at least one other tower and setup the appropriate protocols for that.
-
Replace our “distribution router”, a Cisco 2948L3-G, which has been 100% bullet proof for 7 years, with probably an ImageStream router, so that it works with PowerCode. I am pretty sure this is the direction I am going central office wise
My question is what routing method should I use for my redundancy and do I have to be concerned with compatibility between the ImageStream and all the other Tiks it will “talk with” ?
Any suggestions would be most welcome.
Thanks!
