We have a scenario with (6 mikrotik rb941) and (1 rb750), I’d like to know wich is best way to set a network with all this devices. The provider changes the IP address constantily and we set a VPN with all devices, but not stabilish correctly this solution.
The rb750 was set the server router and anothers were configured client devices, on the configuration with VPN implementation.
I thought to implement a solution using DDNS (like noip), but the computers on the stores are turned off all the night. I thought to implement OSPF solution, but in this scenario, I guess this implementation does not a best way to solve this problem.
So, which is a best way to solve this problem, We not a specialist on this product, in fact we start to implement network solutions with this product ago 6 months. Thanks all to help us.
from what i cvan read. you try to connect to mikrotik devices via VPN, but the routers (VPN servers) are chaning ip constantly. ? If correct. try to do the opposit way. connect to a mikrotik server from this devices,. If this dont work - put a mikoritk VPN server to a provider that have a static IP. This is the best solution.
Hi my friend, I did this like you said. The VPN is established, because I set on the server a Mikrotik DDNS, but when the others mikrotik change the your IPs, the server losting the conectivity. I always need to set again the routes on the IP->Routes for the VPN to do connectivity again with anothers peers. When this occurs the route for the VPN is in blue color, and when I set again this configuration the route back to the black color and I have connectivity with the other mikrotik.
There is a way to upgrade this routes automatically, using a script or another option, for this routes always been connectivity with anothers peers ?
