I have problem, I can´t import maps from older version.
I have suggested this before but never heard if it worked…
Export from your old version then install the first version 3 release you can find… import then export… repeat till your on the new version. I have no reason to try this but it may be worth a shot. I would imagine the first version 3 you can find would import and upgrade the file and somehow that is now broke…
Since you can edit the XML you could build a few thing in the new version and then export that, and compare the XML from old version to the new version. If you see the trouble you could use search and replace or a macro to try to fix it.
I feel for you, I have hand built all my maps and I would be sad if I had to rebuild them from scratch!!!
At least you can easily backup the old version by making a copy of the directory.
