I am managing about 20 Mikrotik routers and switches and they send logs to a Graylog service.
However, logs does contain very little information about their source. Graylog adds source address, but that is not the correct one for some reason.
I want to be able to add custom log fields, for example free text or router id.
Something like this, maybe:
Today I handle it by setting up one log port per device, which quickly becomes a large number of configuration.
Just some thoughts that would make it a little bit easier…
